RSC recently addressed their customer, Chevron, regarding their carbon footprint concerns and the permitting of temporary pumps and generators in the City of Martinez, Ca. RSC examined their needs, collected data and brought both parties together to recommend a solution. To offset their carbon emissions, RSC introduced a new Tier-3 "Green" motor that exists in newer Gorman Rupp Pumps and Multiquip Generators.

As a result, RSC achieved a utilization of 80% of these newer, more environmentally friendly generators in the Bay Area. By having the newest fleet in the rental industry and staying true to RSC's sustainability initiative, we were able to meet the customers' requirements while satisfying California's stringent emissions requirements.
