With this unique service offering RSC is automating the calculation and tracking of greenhouse
gas and criteria pollutants emission data related to equipment use. The total greenhouse gas emissions
resulting from each rental contract is printed on every invoice.
RSC has been focused on sustainability for years, and believe we can improve things that we measure.
By compiling emission information we help customers not only with regulatory compliance and voluntary
reporting, but also enable setting and meeting specific sustainability goals.
The information is highly accurate, based on specific engine data captured for each piece of equipment,
and the use of third party experts in building and formula verification. The Global Institute of
Sustainability at Arizona State University verified the accuracy of the formulas and the data collected.
Printed on every invoice is the total amount of CO2-e emissions for all diesel equipment rented that has
an hour meter. Each piece of equipment with data captured by this calculation is identified by “*CF”

rental management system.
