Welcome to the Report Scheduler Application!

The Report Scheduler will allow you to subscribe to both pre-defined and custom reports and have them delivered to your email on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis in the format of your choosing. With the Report Scheduler there will be no need for you to log-in to the RSC web site to view your reports.

 

Scheduled Reports
The Report Schedule contains a listing of all reports that have been subscribed to and displays their status. From this schedule you may make quick changes or add / edit your report subscriptions.

Scheduled Reports Listing

There are several column presented in the report schedule listing. Below is a breif description of each column for reference.
  • Report Name - Displays the name of the Report that's been scheduled.
  • Recurrence - The interval in which the report is sent.
  • Start Date - The date the report is to start being sent from.
  • End Date - The date the report is to stop being sent on.
  • Email Format - The email format that you would like to have the report delivered in.
  • Last Sent - The last date the report was sent on.
  • Status - Indicates if the subscription for the current report is active or expired.
  • Remove - Allows you to remove a report from the schedule.

Scheduling a Report
If you would like to add a Report to your schedule for email delivery, click the Add Report To Schedule linkbutton on the top-left of the screen. Clicking this button will redirect you to the Scheduler screen where you can select your scheduling options.

Changing a Report Schedule
To modify settings on an existing scheduled report, click the report name linkbutton under the Report Name column header. This will take you to the Scheduler screen where you can modify scheduling options.

Changing Delivery Format
The dropdown contains selections for changing the email format on the fly, without needing to enter the edit screen. You may change the format to HTML, PDF, and EXCEL. Once your selection has been made, the changes will automatically be saved. The next time the report is emailed it will be in the format that you've chosen.

Cancelling a Scheduled Report
If you wish to remove a report from your report schedule, click the X linkbutton under the Remove column header. The report will be removed from your schedule and will no longer be sent.

Report Scheduler
The Report Scheduler allows you to subscribe to both pre-defined and custom reports and have them delivered to youir email on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis in the format of your choosing. With the Report Scheduler there's be no need for you to log-in to the RSC web site to view your reports.


Selecting a Report for Delivery
The Report Name drop down contains a listing of all Reports that are assigned to your user profile, both pre-defined and custom. Select the name of the report you would like to schedule for email delivery from the list.

Recurrence Options
The recurrence selections you make will determine the interval at which your selected report will be emailed to you. There are several options available to you. They are:
  • Daily - The report is sent via email on a daily basis
  • Weekly - The report is sent via email once a week on the day of your choosing
  • Monthly - The report is sent via email at the beginning of each month

Specifying Date Ranges
Reports can be scheduled between periods of your choosing. To achieve this you must specify the report date range. The Start Date is the first day you want to start recieving your report. The End Date specifies the last day you would like to recieve the report. Once set, the report will be sent from the start to end date at your specified interval. If you do not wish to set an end date for your report, you can check the No End Date option. This will cause the report to be sent indefinitely.

Delivery Format Options
Several email delivery options are available. Choose the option that best suits your needs.
  • HTML - Standard Hyper-Text Markup Language format. Ideal for HTML Compatible emails such as Outlook or Hotmail.
  • PDF - Portable Document Format. Arrives as a PDF attachment. Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view.
  • EXCEL - Arrives as a Comma Seperated Format attachment that can be opened in notepad or spreadsheets such as Excel.

Saving the Report
To add the report to your schedule, click the Save Schedule button. This will save the report to a new schedule, queue it for delivery, and then return you to the Report Schedule listing page.
